People around you have new places to hang out, and every kind of place should be everywhere: warm hands by the campfire, coffee on the counter, real walls read against the navigation network, round tables around the campfire. It is placed when running and gone when you leave.

Each NPC will have their own skin covering when they first meet: tattoos, scars, moles, dirt, etc., chosen based on their original identity (raiders have tattoos, settlers are mostly ordinary). There are 699 overlays drawn for it, an in-game window to hand-select the appearance, and a more lightweight alternative to the random overlay frame.
