Terms of Service

1. What playbuff is

playbuff is a catalogue of game modifications ("mods") published by third-party authors. For each entry we verify that a file can be downloaded and, where possible, mirror that file so it downloads directly from this site. playbuff is not affiliated with any game publisher or mod author.

2. Downloads

Files are provided for personal use with the corresponding game. You are responsible for making sure your use complies with the game's licence and the mod author's terms. Always keep a backup before installing a mod.

3. Intellectual property

Mod files and texts belong to their authors. playbuff only indexes publicly downloadable content and does not claim ownership. If you are a rights holder and want an entry removed, contact contact@playbuff.net with the page URL and proof of rights, and we will remove it promptly.

4. Acceptable use

Do not abuse the site: no automated scraping that degrades the service, no attempts to bypass access controls, no redistribution of the mirrored files as your own.

5. Availability

The site is provided "as is", without warranty. Mods may become unavailable when authors remove them upstream; download state and catalogue entries can change without notice.

6. Changes

These terms may be updated as the site evolves. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
