Update 2.0 (January 2026)
The mod has been completely rebuilt. It is not compatible with current archives having older versions installed.
Highlights of version 2.0:
- Completely rebuilt and moved exterior into lake area for compatibility
- If other shelter mods are not broken, there will be no broken land texture
- Single unit edited to be as compatible as possible with surrounding units
- Unbroken pre-merges, keeping the original Fallout 4 as intact as possible
- Opened up new interior spaces, added disposable pools and decorations (see pictures)
- Radiated electricity for lamps and removable power boxes
- Basic settlement requirements completed. Since they were small settlements, this helped keep the settlers satisfied
- All sounds are significantly reduced or can be turned off completely (see pictures and fuse box speakers)
- Life is easier - no keys, no locks. The basic parts of the workshop are pre-placed, making it easy for you to assemble or disassemble by yourself.
- Almost everything disassembles inside and out (see picture of "hidden" disassembly feature)
- Testing and cleaning (new generation FO4 and previous generation safety)
Install:
New saves are only required if there are older versions in the load order.
No old patches or fixes required.
It is recommended that if switching to the new version v2, especially the old .ba2, that you delete all old version files as they are not required.
about:
A detailed and lore-appropriate hot springs settlement located outside the Sanctuary for you and your besties.
Not static, all scrapped, fully customizable inside and out.
Originally built as part of the vaulted structure beneath Shelter Mountain, this utilitarian space was long owned by a lone settler, whose ingenuity and hard work you could exploit.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
