Thanks to Cyzarl, droname, TommyCreo, Skylarsis, GoldGary, FrostyMosty and Me1Nagano for providing this report.

  • **Fix: VATS, Hacking, 3rd Person and other menus would zoom the game away or out of the screen** (Cyzarl). When Bodycam handed the camera back to the game, it stopped updating, but retained the weapon view bump, so everything drawn thereafter used it. As soon as the Bodycam is released, the normal field of view is returned and the game drives automatically on each camera.
  • **Fix: Only Pip-Boy, Pause and Workshop menus paused Bodycam** (FrostyMosty). When using the terminal, the worst thing about sneaking is that the camera tilts up or down the screen. VATS, Terminals (Hacking), Holotapes, Lockpicking, Containers, Trading, Workbench, Cooking, LooksMenu and Books are also now paused so Pip-Boy is where it should be when opened above the terminal. Walk up to the terminal and the game will switch the camera to the screen, and the menu will open; the body camera now notices that the game is manipulating the camera and immediately gets out of the way, rather than moving the footage away from the screen.
  • **Fixed: Viewing angle wobbles when squeezing through narrow gaps and feels like being dragged when aiming** (Cyzarl). The two side walls are closely connected and a corner peek into each frame will find an edge on one side or the other. Catwalks no longer count as cover.
  • **Fixed: The aiming corner slowly swings left and right. ** After aiming, the gun moves sideways with the viewing angle when aiming, this shift is fed back to the eye at the starting point of the angle probe, so the tilt continuously changes the target. The probe now starts from the body.
  • **Fixed: Rifles and shotguns swing into the camera while sprinting. ** The sprint animation has moved the barrel of the gun across the body, and added low-altitude preparation for turning. Low-speed preparation gradually decreases when moving from a jog to a sprint, and resumes when slowing down.
  • **Fixed: Mechanical sight distance has no effect. ** It will move the eye along with the gun handle, so the scope picture will not change, only the sight field change will be affected. Now it moves the gun on its own. The default value is 0, which is exactly what aiming has been up to now; negative brings the muzzle closer, positive pushes the gun. Useful for weapon packs where the aiming animation holds the gun further away (like the Combined Arms Pistol).
  • **NEW: Autoscope view distance** (weapons remain per weapon type). Combined arms pistols look very far away when aimed: their animation has the scope spread out by about 24 units, and the pistol scope angle +50 is tuned for close range firearms. Body cameras now measure the aiming point position of each gun and, beyond that distance, zoom in and out to keep the gun's ray size consistent. Pistols (15) are on, other types are off.
  • **NEW: Auto Rifle Climb** (recoil) (Me1Nagano). Rifles and submachine guns equipped with automatic receivers have a default recoil of 2.5° per round, because each bullet is superimposed on the previous one. Rifle/SMG climbing now covers semi-automatic and bolt-action rifles. This is detected via the game's own automatic keyword, so mod receivers using this skill are also covered. Fiercely pressing a semi-automatic gun through the scope no longer causes each round to go through a hole: the first shot remains accurate, and rapid follow-up shots will spread out, accumulating over three rounds until the new Rapid Fire dispersion setting (defaults to 1.5°).
  • **Fixed: Fast pursuit from low-altitude readiness could move away from the left side of the crosshair. ** Shots fired while the gun is still up are sent towards th …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
