Loot Detector Expansion (Updated)

New functionality has been added to Loot Detector and existing functionality has been modified. This includes new holotape and MCM options, expanded/overhauled loot lists (including DLC), and disabled invasive looting effects.

Pack the loose files into a BA2 compressed package. Since the latest version supports a large number of BA2 archives, this should be a more efficient approach in the long run.

The main file and the optional pickup sound effect removal patch have been uploaded. You can choose to install them according to your needs.

Preface

This is a compilation of changes I (original author DankRafft, the same below) have made to Loot Detector over the past few months, now consolidated into a plugin and script injection added for maximum compatibility. I would also like to thank CrowsOath and its Loot Detector Immersion, which are the inspiration for this module.

I've stopped doing this mod because I've lost interest. Think of it as a maintenance mod. If you want to change something, you have to do it yourself. If you wish to publish your work, please be sure to comply with the permissions section above.

The color customization tab in Holotapes and MCM also provides a "disable" option. If you don't want to see colored shaders on your objects, you can now disable them. The loot feature works fine anyway.

Several ammo, grenades, and weapons missing from the original game have been added to the corresponding loot lists.

The grocery loot list has been tidied up a bit and no longer covers completely pointless items.

"Gun Cover" now also covers mines. Holotapes and corresponding options in the MCM have been renamed.

DLC ammo, grenades, mines, and weapons will be injected into the corresponding lists when the DLC add-on is found in your load order.

If you have ECO/LEO installed, the script will inject the "Legendary Microchips" from these mods into the grocery drop list so that the item will automatically drop as well.

Optional: Disable sound and visual effects, including the overly loud and annoying explosion sound that plays when automatically picking up items when triggered in water.

Additional comments

The built-in injector script will be triggered when you start the game for the first time after installing this mod.

If you decide to uninstall this mod - something you should never do mid-game - the infused items will remain in Loot Detector's loot lists, as these lists are already built into your save.
