Version 1.3.6

new features

Chair: The POV button now switches between first and third person when seated. This also applies to the chair you sit on, the perspective is third person.

Workstations now have a much smoother first-person perspective.

Water Pump: Added a first-person free perspective and a button to switch between first-person and third-person perspective.

MCM

New multi-weapon options: body offset sliders for hands-on, weapon drawn, stealth minions, and weapon drawn (left and right, front and back, up/down). Players can now move their first-person body in each stance.

New MCM option: Arm forward (weapon raised). The first person's arms and weapons move forward when raising the firearm, and the power armor has independent slides. Fades out as you aim.

New MCM option: Sitting and looking down (default 70 degrees). Players can now adjust how far they look down from a seated position in first-person perspective. From the first-person perspective, the left and right views on the chair can be increased to 70 degrees.

New MCM option: chair sit speed. Players can now speed up while sitting and standing in first person (0 = game speed, 50 = twice the speed, 100 = both at the same time).

New MCM option: Workstation interface speed. Players can now set free-view turning speed in first-person on the workstation (0 = game speed, 100 = three times the speed).

New MCM option: Workstation prompts. Players can now show or hide the "No Switch Perspective" and "Switch Perspective Tips" in the crafting menu's button bar.

New MCM option: Start notifications. Players can now hide the "True First Person Activation" message.

Bug fixes

When drawing and retracting a gun in first-person view, the body no longer bends as it does in third-person view. The body can now change positions smoothly.

In first-person, the body no longer bends through the third-person transition animation when entering and exiting stealth without weapons.

Sitting down, standing up, being knocked down, and other first-person animations now move the camera smoothly instead of following every impact of the head.

First-person in and out of powered armor is smoother and less abrupt.

Fixed camera breaking after third person aiming with perspective mirror (and any other mod that switches perspectives via script). When the mod returns the perspective, the perspective returns to normal third person.

Updated on October 3rd:

Version 1.3.5

Added vanilla and NG support. This is still a work in progress. Both OG and NG have been tested and seem to be effective, but please report any problems you find in a timely manner.

Workstation: The perspective always stays on the head during production and follows the body movements smoothly.

Workstation: Fixed puncture issues with hands close to the face in the first-person weapons workbench and power armor workbench.

Version 1.3.4

Added support for Visible Favorites 1.2.4 and above: its holster display now displays in first-person view.

Workstation: Greatly simplified first-person workstation animations.

Workstation: A new free interface has been added. When making, click the right joystick to look around, and click again to return to the converted item.

Workstation: The button for switching between first and third person perspectives now works on the production workbench. Players can now switch between first and third person during crafting.

Workstation: The button bar displays two new controls, Free Switch Perspective and Switch Perspective.

New MCM option: Workstation Depth of Field. Players can now toggle depth of field at workstations.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
