Multiracial Workshop Actors Recruit Alien | Brahmin | Mad Ghoul | Mr. Brave | Mr. Handy | Human | Protector Robot | Synth | Super Mutant | Bodyguard | Use as a production resource and annoy your workshop settlers with greetings and chatty comments. Use beacons to recruit empty bed counts over time, or use radios to generate on-demand.

Hack any active Protectron into an assignable settler in the workshop using the craftable Hack Launcher. There are ~100 Protectrons available in the base game to own and cherish. Collect them all!

The night is dark and wild animals are everywhere. If the player is unsafe in a defended workshop at night, a horde of Ghoul Hunters will chase the player from dusk until dawn.
