I (the original author zlostnypopolnik, the same below) don’t understand English very well, so I’m sorry.
My mods are based on Qrsr's Dark Commonwealth Mod, which is why they are what they are.
Mods are overhauled versions of the original files. They are not things made from scratch with precision and care, they are things created with a hammer in a completely amateurish way. I love the style of the original, so I wanted to capture the feel of the original.
I don't have time (real life consequences), so I probably won't answer questions like "how to install a mod" or "why a mod is like this"... I probably won't answer anything at all. Mods are what they are - "take it or leave it".
There are smarter people in the universe than me, and if they think I'm doing something wrong, please tell me what it is and how to correct it.
My "RIG":
AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Six-Core Processor, 3400 Mhz
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB
16GB DDR4 RAM

I have a downgraded NG version of FO4.
I play FO4 on ULTRA at 1920x1080.
Frost and Shock by ZP:
This mod redoes the electric and frost effects, as well as little things like sparks when hitting metal. This mod also handles teleportation effects, freeze, and pulse grenade explosions. This took me longer than I thought because:
question:
One thing has been bugging me, but since I've ruled out everything and it appears in the original, it might be a mesh issue. 1 type of bad particle has a very vaguely visible square around it, no it's not the alpha chanell because I replaced that texture with a texture that doesn't have the problem and the square is right there. It would be nice if someone could fix it, I don't have the ability.
Pulse Grenade Explosion - Data\Textures\Effects\EBitsGlowyBits01Atlas.DDS
You won't see it in the game, I only noticed it during testing when I stopped the in-game animations and looked at everything carefully.
ZP's Fire and Smoke and ZP's Frost and Shock share some textures, it doesn't matter which mod overrides which.
I even have a texture in ZP's Storm - Lightning.
Lightning - I tried various lightning bolts, but the system is set up the way they are in the game and anything realistic looks terrible.
I'm praying to Atom that everything works because I haven't tested everything yet - there's a lot in the game. If I'm not mistaken, CC content also uses these textures. So if you see something wrong, please report it.
If you see anything unusual, please report it.
compatibility:
This mod comes in two variants - ba2 and loose, just choose one.
This mod overwrites several VANILLA files in the Textures library. For more information, click Preview file contents in the Files section - loose variant.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
