Fixed Liberator double ejection popup bug.
Updated on October 4th:
Version 1.0.1
Improved firing animation.
reason:
Unlike other vanilla weapons, the Liberator has a shell ejection animation when shooting in first person, which is fine in itself, but Bethesda did nothing to prevent real shells from spawning, which resulted in the double shell bug.
Working principle:
Very simple, I (original author BrainstormEpilog, the same below) added the MagazineChild2 bone as a parent bone to the node that generates the actual shell throw, said bone moves to the player in first person
Behind you, move into the gun in third person. Compared to other methods of removing one of these, this preserves both the animation and the normal shell pop-up. I also added sliding motions for the third person animations, the way FO4 plays third person animations makes it hard to see, but they are there.
How to make a patch:
Just open the casing Nif of the weapon you want to patch and change the parent of the junction named "P-Casing" to WeaponMagazineChild3

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
