About this mod Machine translation
Added custom animations to Super Mutants, allowing them to use a variety of vanilla weapons.
Prerequisite: Nuclear World DLC
Updated on October 6th:
Version beta-0.4.1
Fixed unexpected editing of plasma rifle etries.
Version beta-0.4
Small animation adjustments.
Added rail rifle support.
The flamethrower should now work as expected.
The beta-03 version was updated on August 13th, adding support for 10mm pistols.
The beta-02 version was updated on August 12, adding support for radium rifles, laser Gatling and flamethrowers.
The main file and animation hot fix patch have been packaged and uploaded. They need to be used together to make the module work properly.
In the long run, this mod will make all, or at least nearly all, vanilla Fallout 4 weapons usable by super mutants. I (original author BrainstormEpilog, the same below) plan to add more animations over time. This mod is more or less a modder's resource and does not add any weapons to the Super Mutant class list.
Currently supported weapons:
-Battle Rifle/Shotgun
- submachine gun
- Double barrel shotgun
- Nuka World Handmade Rifle
- Far Harbor Radium Rifle
- Gatling Laser
- Flamethrower
- 10mm pistol
-Railway Rifle
Why is it in beta status?
Aside from the fact that the mod doesn't yet cover all of the vanilla weapons, creating animations for Super Mutants is basically groundbreaking work. I plan to update and expand this mod with the knowledge I gain over time.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
