About the GameHogwarts Legacy is an open-world action RPG set in the world first introduced in the Harry Potter books. Embark on a journey through familiar and new locations as you explore and discover magical beasts, customize your character and craft potions, master spell casting, upgrade talents and become the wizard you want to be.

I created a mod that uses the same chunks as the main game, so replacing the files could theoretically improve performance. After testing, it has indeed improved. But the key to the mod is that it takes the most resource-intensive texture in the game, halving its size and removing all mipmaps. Hogwarts Legacy has 12 level mipmaps.

I noticed that there was an area between Ollivander's Wand Shop and Zuko's Joke Shop that was having framerate drops. Framerate drops may still occur in the stair area because a lot of people gather there. However, framerate drops around Zuko's Joke Shop have been significantly reduced, and its indoor quality has improved significantly.
