Tired of configuring Vortex? Don't want to manually manage your mod files? This manager is just for you! It was born out of a bit of boredom and a stubbornness of not wanting to use Vortex.

✨ Core Functions
- **Minimalist operation**: Just add the module compressed package, and the manager will automatically handle the rest.
- **Automatic Extraction**: Extracts `.pak`, `.utoc` and `.ucas` files from ZIP archives.
- **Smart Deployment**: Place files into the game `paks` folder you specify.
- **Cache Management**: Built-in cache system to facilitate module activation and deactivation.
⚠️ IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- **⚠️ DOES NOT SUPPORT FOMOD! **Currently **not compatible** with mods with the FOMOD installer.
- **CHECK BEFORE ADDING**: Before adding a mod to the manager, be sure to check its tarball contents. If you see a `FOMOD` folder, either don't install the mod, or create a new tarball containing only the required files.
- **Potential Risk**: This application manages mods by modifying game files, which **may cause the game to crash**. Please use with caution.
- **Performance Note**: Not fully tested with very large mods. It is normal for the application to become temporarily unresponsive while decompressing very large files.

The cache folder is located at: `%localappdata%\HLMM`
If you want to start over or reinstall the application, **Please manually delete this folder or its contents**.

I only spent about 24 hours writing this app, mainly to help me manage my Hogwarts Legacy mods. I thought it might be useful to others, so I uploaded it to share.
I don't anticipate a large number of users, so probably won't monitor this page frequently. But if you find any bugs, please report them here and I will try my best to fix them.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
