✨ **A smart module that synchronizes the atmosphere of the Room of Requirement with the outside time! **
---
🎯 Module function
The Room of Requirement has four "atmosphere" settings to choose from, two of which look like day and two of which look like night. Once you select a "vibe", it stays the same until you change it manually next time. This may lead to a sense of fragmentation - for example, you walk into the house from the scorching sun at noon, and it is pitch black night inside.
This mod is designed to solve this problem! It will **automatically cycle** through these four ambience settings, switching every **6 game hours** to ensure that the atmosphere inside the Room of Requirement remains consistent with the day and night time **outside**.
**Atmosphere switching time point (in-game time):**
- **Night Vibe 1** - 5pm (it gets dark around 5pm in Scottish winter)
- **Night Vibe 2** - 11pm
- **Daytime Vibe 1** - 5am
- **Daytime Vibe 2** - 11am
💡 **Tips**: If you don’t know the time in the game, it is highly recommended to install the excellent Animated Game Time HUD module to display the time.

📦 Installation Guide
While you can use Vortex to automate installation, Vortex's mod management for Hogwarts Legacy is sometimes unreliable (files may not be deleted properly). Therefore, manual installation is recommended:
- **Download and unzip** the module file.
- Move the following three files to your mods folder:
`Steam\steamapps\common\Hogwarts Legacy\Phoenix\Content\Paks\~mods\`
- `zMyRoRAutoAmbience-109_P.utoc`
- `zMyRoRAutoAmbience-109_P.ucas`
- `zMyRoRAutoAmbience-109_P.pak`
- If you haven’t installed it yet, please install the Blueprint Apparate Modloader first.
- Launch the game and load the most recent save.
- Press the **F8** key to activate the mod loader.
- Type **`MyRoRAutoAmbience`** in the small window and press **Enter**.
- If the installation is successful, the word will disappear from the input line and reappear in the list below with an **X** next to it.
- Press **F8** again to close the loader window.
🎉 **Done! ** The above steps only need to be performed once, and then the module will automatically take effect.

⚠️ Known issues and conflicts
- **Entry Mode Effect**: If you enter the Room of Requirement via **fast travel**, the atmosphere will now display correctly. But if you enter through the **door**, the atmosphere may take a few seconds to adjust. This is because the ability to change the atmosphere only works while you are in the Room of Requirement or fast traveling to the Room of Requirement.
- **File Conflict**: This mod uses **pakchunk 109**. Once installed, you can run the author's PakChunk Checker script to check for conflicts with other mods you have. If a conflict occurs, you can use the Chunk ID Conflict Manager to resolve it, or rebuild the group yourself by following the "Open Source" section below.

💻 Open Source Instructions

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
