🎨 **Inject soul into "Hogwarts Legacy"! **

This ReShade preset is designed to improve the game's otherwise bland colors, tone mapping, shadows, and sharpness without straying too far from the game's original design vibe. If you don't want to fiddle with a bunch of sliders and plug-ins and just want to easily change the overall feel of your game, it also includes a **LUT Selector** that lets you switch styles with one click! ✨

**MildBuzzLight** version is designed to make shadow and night scenes **less dark**, providing more options for players who prefer a brighter style.

🛠️ Step 1: Install ReShade

• **Download ReShade**: Visit to download the installer.
• **Run the installer**: After starting, select your Hogwarts Legacy installation directory and locate `HogwartsLegacy.exe` (usually located at `C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Hogwarts Legacy`).
• **Select Rendering API**: Select **DirectX 10/11/12** and click "Next".
• **Skip Preset**: When prompted to select a preset, click **"Skip"**.
• **Install all effect packages**: In the upper right corner of the next interface, click **"Unselect All"**, then click **"Select All"**, make sure all the effect packages to be installed are checked, and then click "Next".
• **Installation Complete**: Wait for all packages to be downloaded and installed.

📂 Step 2: Install the “A Mild Buzz” preset

• **Download Preset**: Download and unzip `MildBuzz.zip` or `MildBuzzLight.zip`.
• **Place files**: Place the unzipped `.ini` file (such as `MildBuzz.ini`) into your "Hogwarts Legacy" game installation directory (that is, the location where you just installed ReShade).
• **Start the game**: Run "Hogwarts Legacy".
• **Confirm ReShade is running**: If the previous steps are correct, you will see a prompt at the top of the screen that ReShade is compiling the preset. Red error text that appears during the process is usually nothing to worry about.
• **Load Preset**: Press the **"Home" key** on your keyboard, then click **"Skip Tutorial"**.
• **Select Preset File**: Find the **"ReShade Preset"** option at the top of the ReShade interface, click it, then find and select the `MildBuzz.ini` or `MildBuzzLight.ini` file in your game folder. This will enable all the effects required for this preset.

🔧 Optional step: Customize preset (use LUT selector)

Want to quickly switch between different styles? Try the LUT selector!

• In the ReShade interface, click **“Active to top”** to quickly find related presets.
• Select **"prod80_02_Cinetools_LUT"** from the preset list.
• The related options of the preset will be expanded at the bottom of the screen. Find the **"LUT Selection"** drop-down menu.
• Now you can easily switch between **20-30 different options** that can drastically change the overall look and feel of a preset until you find the one you like best!

**Personal Recommendation**: I personally prefer **"FilmicGold_Contrast"**, but everyone's preferences and monitors are different, so this is a great way to make this preset personal!

🗑️ Uninstall method

If you want to uninstall ReShade:

• Run the **ReShade Setup** installation file.
• Select `HogwartsLegacy.exe`.
• Select **DirectX 10/11/12**.
• Select **Uninstall**.
