This mod is designed to provide a more friendly gaming experience for Dutch-speaking players. It replaces all English interfaces, dialogues, item descriptions and other text content in the game with Dutch.
📝 Translation process
Translation work is based on community collaboration and continuous optimization:
- **Preliminary version**: Originally translated directly from the German version into Dutch via Google Translate.
- **System Correction**: Subsequently, batch corrections were made to the grammar of the translation system through scripts.
- **Manual correction**: At this stage, we are manually correcting inaccurate or blunt translations. For example, proper nouns such as "Butterbeer" and "Charms" were left untranslated, and idiom errors such as "Copy that professor." (received, professor) were mistranslated into "Kopieer die professor." (copy that professor) were corrected.
💡 *This shows that even in the original German translation, there are cases where idioms are not translated or translated incorrectly, and we are correcting them one by one. *
🛠️ Installation and Uninstallation
**Installation steps:**
- Make sure your Hogwarts Legacy game language is set to **English**.
- Place the module’s PAK file into the following directory:
`Hogwarts Legacy/Phoenix/Content/Paks/~mods`
**Get file:**
- The required PAK files can be found on the mod's GitHub Releases page.
- **Note**: Starting from v0.4, you need to unzip the downloaded ZIP file before you can get the PAK file.
**Uninstall method:**
- Very simple! Just delete the mod's PAK file from the `~mods` folder mentioned above.
