About this mod Machine translation
Requires CBBE and Unique Player (independent player skin architecture)
How to use Unique Player (super simple):
First, install Unique Player in NMM or MO, sort it after CBBE or Atomic Beauty, use and activate (check) ESP.
You can also install it manually (not recommended) and copy it directly to the Data directory manually, but remember to activate ESP.
- Fallout 4 from you
In Data\Meshes\Actors\Character\Characterassets\, copy out all the files inside and copy them to Meshes\Actors\Character\PlayerCharacterAssets in the Unique Player installation directory;
The purpose of this step is because the current body shape that comes with Unique Player is not new enough. In the current game version, the texture may sometimes be lost, so it needs to be replaced manually.
- NMM or MO, directly install the tattoo MOD you downloaded, and sort it after Unique Player. If you install it manually (not recommended), unzip the tattoo MOD you downloaded, check the directory structure inside, and copy the corresponding overwrite to your Unique Player.
The principle of tattoo MOD is to simply replace the skin material. Just cover it when prompted to cover it, and then it’s OK. Let’s go into the game and take a look.
Replace other tattoos and repeat step two.
Unique Player does not modify any files of the game itself and can be directly disabled or completely uninstalled without affecting the game.
One additional point: Unique Player is only for the player's body/limb skin, not the face, so it will not change the skin of your face. In the screenshot below, I use Oni face retexture on my face, which has nothing to do with Unique Player. The body uses Vex's CBBE Tattoos copied to Unique Player.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
