About this mod Machine translation

An F4SE plugin that displays a Team Fortress 2/Minecraft style third person character in a first person HUD

Original address:

Updated on July 30th:

Version 1.11

Fixed equipment animation skipping when quickly equipping

Fixed the problem that swimming animation cannot be synchronized

Previews are now hidden in furniture to prevent T-poses

Improve bypass logic to reduce conflicts

Since "Fallout 4" does not have a 1:1 matching third-person perspective, the model may become out of sync in real-time animation mode.

Custom menu

If you open TF3DHUD.ini, you will see MenuKey in the [UI] section.

The default key is ' (the apostrophe, the one to the left of the enter key), and you can switch to another key using the key in the virtual key code.

The menu looks like this, supporting English, Korean, Japanese, Simplified and Traditional Chinese (machine translation)

In the Layout tab, you can edit the anchor point, field of view angle, model XY position, placement distance, rotation, and camera tracking and clipping rectangles (similar to model bounds).

In the Animations tab, you can select the type of animation the model should follow.

You can also make it play an idle animation loop by checking "Use real-time animation".

This is the panel you see when "Use Live Animation" is checked, so you can choose the idle animation by selecting the file first.

Not all animations can be played, because I can't tell whether the animation can be played unless you try to play it, but I (the original author jarari, the same below) filtered it as much as possible.

An interesting thing about the animation is that if you have drawn your weapon, the game will blend the fingers of the weapon pose. (Watch your fingers)

This works for some animations but not for others, so if you want to animate it, just select Collapse.

The Equipment tab is where you can control which bipod slots are mirrored onto the model.

It will display a list of your equipped armor, with bipedal slot numbers, and armor with disabled slots will be grayed out.

In the Lights tab, you can add or remove lights from the model.

It supports three types: directional (solar), fixed, and time.

The direction type reads the sun's position, color, and intensity on the map, but allows you to reposition and multiply the brightness.

Fixed lights are fixed lights, which have many configurations.

The time of day appears at the start time, the end time disappears, and the position moves between the start and end. It also allows you to change the color and intensity, and make fake suns and moons if you want more control than directionality.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
