Updated on July 7, 2026:

Version 2.1

Increased time to wait for stance to complete (since weapon is sometimes out of hand)

Added exclusions for classic weapons (so mannequins don't show sheathed weapons)

Minor repairs to elevated platforms.

Additional support for placing human models via CreationKit (pre-created not Workshop).

If the base is reset (via unit reset), restore the dummy

Version 2.0

Workarounds for stances without weapons (especially melee weapons)

Added additional built-in melee weapon poses.

It's better to remove the pose mod halfway through (but you shouldn't do this!)

Added submenus (especially stances) to help with patching and mod support

Extra human models (optional) are now a submenu outside of the main male/female options

Updated included Pose mod patch for submenus (no longer replaces built-in Poses)

Version 1.7

Fix: Mannequins on the second floor could be sent to the loading point on the first floor.

Version 1.6

"Return to All Inventory" should first reset the model to idle.

The placement of dogs and cats sometimes doesn't look right.

The dummy positioning would be better if the base went from thick to thin/invisible.

If the dummy is hidden, first unhide it and then select the menu option.

The mannequin remains hidden until the "Unhide" menu option is selected (unless there is an option to require the mannequin to be visible)

Set the models to "Character Generation Face Preset" (since they cannot have character generation files, they will be headless)

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
