Version 1.9.0
Attempt to fix an issue where multiple customizations of the same type could be active at the same time. Refreshing the bus should now hopefully clean it up.
Changed the way the bus remote menu works: only if you select "Call Bus" it will actually do the math to find the closest one, and then show a second popup where you can actually call it.
A pop-up will tell you if the bus is at the nearest marker (including its name), but there's no option to have it go there.
If you select the marker via terminal where the bus is currently located, it will tell you but there is no option to navigate there.
Added 3 new texts to the bus screen, for no reason...
Version 1.8.0
NEW: Temporary snowplow front insert, courtesy of Damanding
Fixed an issue where bus arrival markers within SS2 territories were showing "Federation" instead of the correct location name.
Terminal and bus exit doors should now more frequently display the location of the current arrival marker instead of the generic "Federation"
Tweaked the ground detection scripts for the Quadcopter and Amphibious Propulsion System plugins, hopefully they will now detect the fact that the bus is on solid ground more often...
Version 1.7.0
New feature: "Amphibious Propulsion System" wheels that automatically switch between wheels and rocket thrusters based on the time there is a navigation network underneath the bus
NEW: "Quadcopter" roof add-on, the rotors will spin if there is no navigation net under the bus.
Adjusted functionality that determines when the screen fades out or not when calling the bus. It might still be a little unstable...
When traveling between different world spaces, the bus should now correctly disable map markers in the world space it just left.
Version 1.6.3
NEW: Added 5 license plates that can be added to the bus using the bus workbench
SS2 Patch: Two new workbenches: a combined Chemistry and City Planning workbench, and a three-in-one Chemistry/Cooking/City Planning workbench. Can snap onto a small table or cabinet on the bus instead of one of the 3 pre-existing workbenches.
Improved handling of resource sharing options. The menu will now also show which settlement the bus is currently connected to, and there is also a readme file.
Fixed an edge case where camera shake during live driving could persist after the bus arrived
Version 1.6.2
Fixed all assets for missing functional tank and armored personnel carrier turrets in main BA2
Turn down the sound of the transit
There is now a way to wait for arrival via the bus remote or a bed inside the bus while using Live Driving. When this counts as sleep depends on the "Sleep while traveling" setting.
Version 1.6.1
Fixed an issue where the reactor console would not visually change when charging the bus.
Fixed an issue where the dial on the reactor console would shake when the power level should be 0. It also won’t shake around in transit anymore.
Fixed a minor misconfiguration in how PA containers are initialized
Version 1.6.0
New feature: Live travel mode can now be selected from System Settings > Travel Settings. If enabled, you will be locked in the bus for the duration of your trip, with no time jumps. You can still use the bed or any seat to manually wait for arrival. If "Save while traveling" is enabled, a save will be triggered on arrival.
Fixed an issue where bus parts would sometimes disappear
Fixed an issue where Power Armor inside a carrier or mobile workbenc …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
