Updated on October 15th:

Version 2.1.5 update:

Added "Show HUD based on zoom level" option in MCM. When this option is enabled and the target zoom level is set, the HUD will check both the range keyword and the zoom level, and if the zoom is high enough, the HUD will appear even without the keyword.

Some MCM languages have been machine translated.

Updated on February 27th:

Version 2.1.4

Added the ForcedDisableHUDWeaponList list to the FormID List tab of ESP, which allows limiting the HUD display of specific weapons. This mod does not work on next-gen versions of the game.

Updated on February 25th:

Version 2.1.3 Update:

  • Impact points are now displayed correctly in third person perspective, even at very close range.
  • If you are still experiencing crashes when using "Thirst Zapper" after the update, please leave a comment on the post. We will handle the exception until the exact cause is determined.

Updated on February 24th:

Version 2.1.1 Update:

  • Fixed an issue where the game would freeze when selecting a numeric input field in the color adjustment settings for the Impact Marker in the HUD customization menu.
  • Added "Show HUD distance only" option to MCM.

Updated on February 22nd:

Version 2.1 Updates:

  • A HUD rotation menu has been added to the MCM just below the HUD position menu. Adjusting this setting will tilt the HUD by the specified angle.
  • Fixed an issue when covering projectiles in attachment components.

Version 2.0 updates:

  • Added new HUD type, Vanilla, now the default type.
  • New menu "Open HUD Type/Color/Sizing Menu" added in MCM.
  • Instructions for using the HUD adjustment menu are provided at the bottom of this help page, so check them out.

Updated on February 21st:

Version 1.0.3 Update:

  • "Show HUD in first person only" option added to MCM. I didn't realize this because I don't use STS mods, but I thought there might be users who find the HUD appearing in third person aiming annoying, so I added this option.
  • Fixed issue where "-" would be displayed if impact distance was 0.0.
  • Fixed an issue where impact markers were displayed incorrectly in certain situations in third person mode.

Updated on February 20th:

Version 1.0.2 Update:

  • In the FormList tab of ESP, users can now add keywords to the EnableScopeHUDKeywordList and ForcedDisableScopeHUDKeywordList to customize which weapons will display the HUD. For more details, check out the Article tab.
  • Additionally, telescopic sights are now defined as weapons with 0 damage and a zoom multiplier of 2 or higher. The HUD for these weapons will always be displayed unless a keyword from the ForcedDisableScopeHUDKeywordList is present.

Version 1.0.1 Update:

Some users might find it bothersome if the HUD was displayed on all scoped weapons, so a "bolt-action firearms and binoculars only" option was added to the MCM.

----

When aiming with a scoped weapon, a HUD will appear showing the predicted impact point and distance to that point, calculated based on bullet drop. The HUD's position, size, and color can be fully customized through MCM to suit the user's preferences. It works through F4SE and SWF, and can be used with any weapon, whether vanilla or mod-added, as long as the weapon's parts have the "HasScope" keyword.

This mod does not work on next-gen versions of the game.

The predicted point of impact is shown based on the ammunition used by the weapon. If the ammunition is affected by gravity, the impact point will be calculated and displayed below the center. The size of the impact point marker increases with distance and decreases with distance.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
