*As shown in the picture, the famous QE sideways function was also a good thing that came out when I first entered the game. It was an important step for Fallout 4 to move towards a modern FPS. You can basically see it in major integrations. Today, just like RON, the official version 1.0 was updated, so I posted it here*

Rookie shooter-QE sideways and gun inertia
An F4SE plugin to improve the overall gameplay of Fallout 4 as a shooter.
To customize, install and use the MCM mentioned above in advance.
1. Gun inertia
Inertia is something that most modern FPS games have in their weapon animations to make you feel like you're holding a real gun.
In Fallout 4, however, the gun moves in sync with your camera.
The Rookie Shooter mod uses your input to simulate fake inertia, and poor arm condition makes it harder to control your gun.
Most settings should remain unchanged. You can change the rotation limit, how much inertia you get based on your input, the strength of the inertia, and whether it should be disabled in ADS.
Lowering the horizontal/vertical rotation divider will create stronger inertia, and lowering the rotation return rate will delay your gun's return to its original position.
2. Realistic camera (off by default)
In addition to first person inertia, I also created an experimental feature called Photorealistic Camera.
Inspired by recent bodycam style games, this adds more rotational movement to the camera so it feels more realistic.
Note that the camera will follow the sideways pan. If you don't like this, you can adjust the default rotation through the MCM.
There are many other customizable values, so you can make your own camera style.
3. Sideways
Supports Tarkov style or R6 style
Sideways, default bound Q, E will be the best first person tactics available to you in Fallout 4.
Buttons are customizable. The tilt angle, time required for full tilt, and tilt style can also be set via the MCM.
Some mold punching may occur when you lean against a wall, but there should now be proper …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
