About this mod Machine translation

recyclable settlers

Recruitable Settlers currently adds 50 NPCs (including 14 level 4 merchants) in the Federation, Nuka-World and Far Harbor that can be recruited by players and added to settlements simply by walking and talking to them. Some settlers work the same as vanilla settlers, while others provide passive bonuses to your settlement, or provide level 4 business services without having to grow random produce.

Recyclable Settlers Features:

38 settlers can be recruited:

12 Basic: Same as vanilla settler. Recruitment is possible without any prerequisites and no bonuses are offered.

16 Better: May need to complete missions before recruiting. Offers small passive settlement bonuses such as happiness, food production and increased income.

10 Best: Quests that require completion and/or are located in high-level areas. Provides level 4 merchant services when assigned to the correct type of store.

Configure Holotape:

Vault 111 located on Overseer's desk.

Can be crafted on Chem workstations since v3.0.1 in the Utilities section.

Toggle settler status between Mortal, Protected, or Required (protected by default).

Bonus Features: Various settler specialty eyes are available to the player (Blue Synthesizer, Yellow Synthesizer, and Green Illumination)

Important note from Nuka-World owners:

When installing Nuka-World's settlers, you can initially assign them to normal and invader settlements. However, once they are assigned to a settlement, they are locked and can only be sent to other settlements of the same type. For example. If you assign settlers to a normal settlement, they can only move to other normal settlements, and if you assign settlers to an invader settlement, they can only move to other invader settlements. This is due to the way Bethesda wrote the invader settlement system, and I haven't found a way to override it.

Install:

Download, install and activate using NMM.

Extract all files to the Fallout4 Data folder and activate it in the game menu.

compatibility:

Shouldn't be any problem. This mod will not edit any pre-existing scripts or quests. It only adds new NPCs and a few quests for dialogue. Multiple objects have been added or moved where the NPC was added. This model has been cleaned using FO4Edit.

Compatible with the following mods:

better settlers

don't call me settler

Sim Settlements (successfully tested with v1.0.6a or higher)

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
