About this mod Machine translation

A new update has been released! Version 2.0+ no longer affects Invader's Power Armor and no longer requires the "Far Harbor" DLC patch. It should be more compatible with other mods.

Before upgrading, be sure to delete the old version and save your game with your character.

Most compatibility/support patches have been adapted for PAMAP v2.0+.

However! Don't bother trying to use the old compatibility patches for PAMAP 2.0+, it won't work very well.

DLC support/compatibility:

Automatron:Supported

Wasteland Workshop: Compatible

Far Harbor: Supported/As of version 2.0, PAMAP is fully compatible with Far Harbor.

Contraptions Workshop: Compatible

Vault-Tec Workshop: Compatible

Nuka-World: Support

Compatible means there is no conflict between the DLC and the mod, so no patch is required.

Support means there are at least some conflicts but special patches/versions have been made for them.

PAMAP does not require DLC or mods.

How to install?

Automatic: For this, you need Mod Manager (also known as NMM), which you can find on virtually every .com page.

Download it, install it and configure it to find your Fallout 4.

Then, in the download section of my mod (or any mod you want), use "DOWNLOAD WITH MANAGER", it may ask you for permission, just allow it.

The Mod Manager should be open (even if it isn't already), now go to the "Mods" tab, if you use them then find the correct category (it should be "Gameplay Effects and Changes") and double click on the mod to activate it.

How to delete?

Automatic: Just double-click the mod in NMM again to deactivate it.

Or right click on it and select "uninstall mod".

If you don't want to leave any traces, finish by clicking the red "X" on the left side of the software while the mod is selected.

Installation/uninstallation consequences:

  • After installing this mod, any power armor parts that already have paint or materials in them will still have it, and it will be in the correct category.

It shouldn't cause any problems.

  • Before uninstalling the mod, I highly recommend making sure you are not inside Power Armor when you save.

To be more sure, remove all paint/materials/photovoltaic modules from your power armor.

compatibility:

Any mods that add/modify paints and paints added from other mods should be in the "Paint" category.

Any mod that does not interfere with Power Armors in any way is compatible.

Any textures that change the mod are compatible as my mod doesn't touch any textures at all.

Some examples, undoubtedly compatible:

Configurable Power Armor Fusion Core Emissions RAWberry400

ICPA - alistair3149's invincible accompanying power armor

The Legendary Modification of Tea

MMP4APA - Minuteman Paint for all Power Armor by invock

More durable power armor powered by xCamoLegend - Hitchenson

Tumbajamba's Combat Strength Armor by tumbajamba and Azrael_wtf

Tumbajamba's Spartan Battle Suit consists of tumbajamba and Azrael_wtf

Better Power Armor – Zzyxzz’s Power Armor Overhaul

NAVI - Justice's new power armor 123

Incompatibility:

It will most likely conflict with any mod that changes the base power armor, since I mostly modify it.

Compatibility/support patches can be found in the "Miscellaneous" category!

  • Incompatible with Worsin's Immersive Power Armor Paint Garage - Independent by Worsin

At this point there is no reason to use this mod for mine since Worsin does more.

  • Incompatible with J3litzkrieg's Jetpacks Unlimited: resolved

Just make sure the compatibility patch is lower than "PAMAP.esp" and "Jetpacks Unlimited Master.esp" in the load order.

PAMAP v2.0+ patch.

  • Not compatible with Garnit's Power Armor Re (Balanced)

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
