Overview
Stronger mobs will now drop a handful of useful components on death based on the mob type. Just like Fallout 76!
I've been playing a lot of Fallout 76 over the past few weeks, and I love how dangerous enemies drop desirable discarded components when killed. It feels quite rewarding, and I find that if I see dangerous prey from a distance, it motivates me to go out of my way to hunt it.
I think this is pretty cool!
Dangerous creatures now drop small amounts of delicious loot as a reward for killing them. Creature drops are based on Fallout 76, with the game tweaked and balanced to fit Fallout 4's loot economy.
Analysis: The ability of each creature to drop items can be switched individually through the MCM, or by making a configuration holographic tape at the chemical station.
Creature drops are not added via level list editing or script injection, so drops can be switched on and off at any time.
Creature drop list:
Alien: Circuit, Copper.
Angler: Adhesives, asbestos.
"Behemoth: Nuclear Materials."
Cave Cricket: Acid.
Tracker: Ballistic Weave, Circuit.
Death Claw: Ballistic Weave, Gear.
Mistwalker: Antiseptics, fiber optics.
Crocodile: ballistic weave, ceramic material.
Gulpers: Fertilizer, plastic.
Hermit crab: lead, oil.
Swamp Beast Queens: Fiberglass, gear.
Scorpion: Acidic, oily.
Brain-controlled robots: disinfectants, circuits.
Sentinel Robot: Circuitry, Copper.
Monster: acid, spring water.
Have fun!
Notes
This is just a small bonus against strong enemies and doesn't disrupt the overall trash economy. Each creature can only drop 0-5 ingredients (usually favoring 1-3), depending on the rarity and value of each ingredient.
If you have any feedback or suggestions about the amount or type of loot dropped by mobs, please feel free to hear it in the comments section.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
