Update 1.1 January 4th: Fixed a hilarious bug where NPCs couldn't hear your gunshots because the game was tighter than Tuco after sucking on some blue, yellow, pink
What does it do:
Prevents the game from automatically starting a weapon reload when you empty the magazine or attempt to fire with an empty magazine.
Why:
While there is a working implementation of similar functionality like Manual Reload Simple or Tactical Reload, they have some laggy/annoying things: manually editing idle, reloading immediately after emptying the magazine is not possible, so you have to wait a while to reload, which is especially annoying in combat (maybe it's the perks/scripts it uses that cause delays), and in Bullet in the Chamber we had to abandon some features because they didn't work with manual reloading.
On the other hand, the plugin completely disables the code responsible for these automatic reloads, which doesn't come with any drawbacks.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
