Skin coverage
This feature allows overriding the skin shape of Actor/ActorBase to other options, see the attached example skin overlay for details.
Overlay
This functionality is similar to RaceMenu in that it can overlay textures on the body. It doesn't change the texture alone, but the entire material of the overlay. You can use BGSM or BGEM material files as targets. Please note that BGSM materials do not support alpha blending (BGEM does). If the texture uses BGSM and is tagged as skin tone, the overlay can be tinted, but the user interface does not yet provide tinting capabilities.
Transformation is a new feature of the LooksMenu overlay that modifies the UV map of the body so that it can be positioned however you like. Offset and scale are relative to the values assigned in the material. This means that if you create an overlay using a material that changes the offset or scale, the overlay will be added to the existing offset and multiplied by the existing scale.
See the example provided in the optional download section to learn how to create an overlay.
The overlay's "id" must be unique, this is the unique name used by the scripting API, similar to a "template".
The "Deformable" property is intended to enable or disable the translation and scaling of the overlay (full body deformation may not be appropriate).
The "playable" attribute is designed to hide the template in the interface when the template is selected
Overlays can be applied to multiple slots simultaneously, and overlays may span the body (slot 3) and hands (slot 4)
Please note that this feature is not intended for replaceable skin textures, and while this may work, it is not what it is designed for. Skin texture switching is through skin overlay
BodyMorph
to achieve. Body Transformation is actually an in-game Bodyslide, and is unique to certain NPCs. The spawning shapeshifter must already have the Body Slide skill. When building via Bo …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
