Load accelerator
加载加速器
About this mod Machine translation
Reduce loading times by controlling vsync (fps) and CPU affinity on loading screens.
This is expected to improve loading times in SSD environments.
(It doesn't seem to have much impact in HDD environment)
Notice
- Please use at your own risk.
- Sometimes not suitable for the environment.
- GPU load will be higher on loading screens.
How to apply
- Place the [D3D11.dll] and [LoadAccelerator.ini] files in the folder containing Fallout4.exe.
- When vsync is disabled on the in-game loading screen, the indicator [- >>] in the lower right corner of the screen will be displayed.
*If you have changed the vsync option on the GPU driver settings, please cancel this setting (Settings: Use 3D Application Settings.)
*If you have changed the vsync option in Fallout4Prefs.ini, please go back to the original version (setting: iPresentInterval = 1)
Set FPS limit
If necessary, edit the [LoadAccelerator.ini] file and change the FPS limit when loading.
FPSLimitInLoading = 350
FPSLimitInBlackLoading = 350
when this doesn't work
The conditions that determine the load screen may vary depending on the environment.
If this doesn't work, try changing the settings in the following procedure.
- Edit [LoadAccelerator.ini] and rewrite the following content
ShowState = false,ShowState = true
ShowFPS = false means ShowFPS = true
- This ensures that FPS and STATE values are displayed in the lower right corner of the screen.
- Launch the game and check the STATE value on the loading screen.
- Edit [LoadAccelerator.ini] again. Change the TargetState value to the STATE value checked in step 2.
Apply for ENB
- Rename this file [d3d11.dll]. (e.g. [la_d3d11.dll]) and then place the renamed DLL.
- Edit [enblocal.ini] and rewrite the following content.
EnableProxyLibrary = false to true
InitProxyFunctions = false for true
ProxyLibrary = [Rename DLL name (e.g. la_d3d11.dll)]
and
EnableFPSLimit = true to false
*Even if FPSLimit in ENB is enabled, load times will be reduced, but the reduction will be smaller.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
