About this mod Machine translation
Renamed JOURNEY because I hate taking one breath.
(Original "Survival mode settlement with fast travel only")
Fast travel to settlements is only available in this mode in Survival mode. !!renew!
All versions and Caravan Travel are now combined into one add-on and you can use the in-game Holotape editing options to customize it to your liking!
Now available in three versions and an optional plugin -
main -
Reality - Fast travel is only possible from settlement to settlement and only via supply lines connecting settlements
Restricted - Quickly travel to Sanctuary Hills, Home Plate and The Castle from anywhere
Easy - Quickly travel to all settlements from anywhere
Options -
Caravan Travel - allows you to travel directly from your caravan to its home or destination settlement for a fee of $75 (by default it will be adjusted if it is too steep, this can be set dynamically by updating the global HCH_TravelCost)
Suppliers now also allow you to transfer equipment back to its home or destination residence for a fee. These can be configured by setting HCH_PortBase (base cost) and HCH_PortMult (cost per item)
Items stored this way will automatically be deposited on the workbench
Additionally, due to Immersive's changes, Home Plate is no longer an option as you can't connect supply lines. However, Automatron only supports the Immersive version right now, in addition to any other future settlements that can be connected via supply lines, assuming Bethesda doesn't change some very core scripting.
Compatibility Update - This should be compatible with any mod (unless Bethesda makes a major change) with any future updates. I also want to point out that travel defaults to using custom settlements, such as Chesko's Conquest. I feel the need to mention that this was completely accidental, but hey, whatever.
To do:
Added a journey log option that includes some random penalties and surprises as a trade-off for the ability to fast travel
(CaravanTravel) Added option to store all rubbish in your caravan’s workshop

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
