Some minor fixes.
I (original author tryname, the same below) looked for a solution. Not found. So I made it myself.
When you're not wearing power armor and flying into the water with a jetpack on your back, Havok physics will skip the normal landing process. The kJumping flag on bhkCharacterController is stuck and can never be cleared.
When you leave the water and press the jump button, the game still thinks you're falling. It plays the descent animation, but the jetpack does nothing. You have to land on solid ground before it can work again.
So I wrote one in C++. The module plugs directly into Havok, detects the transition from land to water, manually clears the stuck kJumping flag, and resets the state machine back to kOnGround. It works just as well as the frame you take out of the water.
Working principle
This mod does not involve Papyrus or hook events. It simply monitors water entry and directly modifies the status of the Havok controller.
Because the fix works on the Havok layer of C++:
It works with any jetpack mod (CROSS Jetpack, Personal Jetpack, etc.).
There are no Papyrus text conflicts.
It does not depend on any talent or actor values.
Powered armor was deliberately excluded because it has different water control and does not have this bug.

Thanks to the CommonLibF4 team for their work. Without it, this mod would be much harder to write.
If you encounter any problems please let me know. Thank you so much.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
