Four MCM menu json parser

Introduction: Recently, I have been annoyed by the localization of the MCM menu of a bunch of mods, as well as the occasional garbled characters. The most important point is that manually changing the json cannot save the dictionary. Next time the author updates the mod, you have to change it again. (I will not say that the MCM menu of a certain Player Comment has been rewritten 4 times by the author 2333)

I wrote a tool in java that can directly convert MCM files in json format into txt format. Then you can use Fallout4Translator to simply Chineseize and save the dictionary. In addition, there will be no garbled code problems.

Function: Replace the Chinese-translatable text in json with $quote, and extract the text into a txt translation file under the interface (the original json file will be backed up as a file with the backup suffix). Then use xTranslator to Chineseize the file to get the _cn.txt file, and then use the "txt import" of this tool to import the Chinese content back to json to support any type of MCM Chineseization.

Instructions for use:

• Prepare a mod with MCM menu in json format

• Download the program provided in this post, double-click to open it, and select the mod root directory (where the MCM folder is located)

• Click "Open" and select "json text extraction". If successful, the following prompt will appear and json and _en.txt files will be automatically generated.

• Next, you only need to Chineseize the txt file (use Fallout4Translator to Chineseize it, and you can also save the dictionary to facilitate mod updates), as follows:

• Fallout4Translator generates a txt file with the _cn suffix after the Chinese translation is completed and saved.

• Open the tool again, select "txt text import", and a success prompt will pop up to complete the Chinese translation of MCM. (The translated _cn.txt file must exist)
