Updated on November 23:
Version 2.0.3
---Minor update ---
Changed: Allows ducking in Power Armor if Emergency Protocol is active. Thanks to Wulf_BearClaw for this suggestion.
Version 2.0.2
---Minor update ---
Changed: Prevented sliding in Power Armor as third person animation was broken due to this.
Fix: Added some minor safety checks for swiping.
Version 2.0.1
---Minor update ---
ADDED: Re-added ini key bindings for ducking, for people like me who use mcm incompatible keys to duck (I use left alt).
- This feature is disabled by default, you should stick to using MCM for keybinding unless you are also using weird keys.
Optimization: Removed unexpected redundant checks for dodge and slide.
Version 2.0.0
---Major Update---
New: New feature, Dodge! This is a cyberpunk style directional dodge, a short dash with temporary damage resistance.
- You can duck when you press a keybind while walking/jogging in a certain direction. You cannot dodge while attacking, dashing, reloading, or sneaking.
- If you have the Moving Target perk at level 3, you can dodge while sprinting.
- Dodge is on keybindings and configurable in the MCM.
- Dodge also requires the Actor Velocity Framework and is therefore unique to last/previous gen.
New: Sneaking has a speed penalty of 0 AP if you have Sneaking Drains AP enabled.
Changed: Swiping is now handled automatically by your crouch key, no keybinding is required to swipe.
Changed: Reduced directional movement speed penalty.
Changed: Sliding and dodging now require and consume a configurable % of max AP, rather than a configurable static number. You can make adjustments in MCM.
FIXED: Fixed an issue with swiping draining extra AP while stealth draining AP is enabled.
Optimization: Heavy script optimization.
- Recompile in Release Final instead of Debug.
- Switched some logic evaluation to Garden of Eden conditional functions instead of papyrus functions to significantly improve script performance.
Removed: Temporarily disabled the Sprint Momentum module as the current implementation is sub-par.
- This feature will be re-added when I do more testing of Magic Effect Taper.
Updated on September 12th:
Version 1.2.2
---Minor update ---
Optimization: Small script optimization. This should also fix the inability to swipe until the game is reloaded.
Updated on August 8th:
Version 1.2.1
---Minor update---
Fixed: Resolved an issue where Actor Velocity Framework might not be checked correctly on some installations.
In addition, this and future updates will split the module into a main file and an ini file. The ini file is used to set the action key positions. This way, there is no need to set it up again every time it is updated. The two need to be installed in the same folder to work properly.
Updated on August 7th:
Version 1.1.1
---Minor update---
FIXED: Fixed an edge case where sliding could occur when pressing the crouch key in free camera/photo mode.
Updated on August 5th:
Version 1.1.0
---Minor update---
New: Optional sliding modifier key bindings, configurable in EnhancedMovement.ini
Added: Placed a link in EnhancedMovement.ini to the pinned post on this page that contains all controller keycodes.
Changed: Minor script optimization.
Changes: Various condition improvements and cleanup of perks and abilities
Changed: Swimming and sneaking now cost less AP.
Changed: Sprint Momentum now provides slightly higher bonus speed.
Changed: Compressed .wav ->.xwm audio files to reduce file size.
FIXED: You can now properly start sneaking after completing a slideshow in third person, similar to the same effect in Starry Sky.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
