Version 1.71
New features:
- Universal Pajamas: All NPCs in the game will now change into pajamas when sleeping.
- All costumes in this mod can now be found at the Chemistry Workbench
On Build - Companions will change into bedding when the sandbox goes to bed.
- Romantic partners take off their clothes completely when sleeping with them.
- Added assignable radsuit switches. When you first obtain the rad suit in your inventory, your players will now receive a switch item that they can assign to a slot so that they can switch back and forth between their current armor and the rad suit.
Version 1.5
New features:
- Complete wardrobe customization added. You can now edit any outfit worn by a settler, just ask it to trade, dress it up exactly the way you want it, hit save when prompted, and select the outfit you want to create.
- Added full support for Sim Settlements users. Settlers will now equip themselves based on the plot they are working on. If the plot already has an outfit prepared for them, they will attempt to equip it. If not, they'll equip one of our outfits. Trade clothing plots will now trigger upgrades to settlers' wardrobes.
Version 1.3
- Fixed the reason why the custom outfitting menu was disabled in some cases. Outfitting spells are now hardwired on our custom outfitting scripts so no glitches can occur.
Version 1.2
- Fixed bug with naked NPCs. We have an issue with the equipment manufacturer not giving NPCs casual clothes at level 3 (clothing mall), resulting in NPCs being naked. Also installed a naked NPC checker as a last resort. As long as you don't have any incompatible body replacements, it will work (crossing your fingers).
- Fixed a broken feature in our trade menu that killed saving and resetting custom gear, as well as our workaround for an engine-level bug that killed magic effects. Now, custom gear will be triggered every time you want to customize an NPC's gear.
Updated on April 22nd:
Version 1.1
- Fixed an issue where assigning NPCs to any bunk would re-roll their coveralls (if they had any).
- Fixed an issue where NPCs trying to change clothes while wearing power armor would cause major graphical/object issues. Settlers wearing power armor will now ignore the function call for equipment switching instead of just unequipping the power armor. This is done to ensure maximum compatibility with other mods using NPCs and Power Armor.
- Improved compatibility with simulated settlements. NPCs who can dress up now recognize work plots and dress accordingly. If they're not wearing what they're supposed to be wearing, just reassign their work plot. This will trigger a new wardrobe.

What this module does:
Did it ever bother you that settlers wore the same clothes no matter what they were doing? This mod attempts to solve this problem by dynamically changing your NPC's clothing as they go about their daily lives.
Working principle:
(Please read carefully!
When NPCs spawn in settlements via recruitment beacons, or when players recruit settlers, this mod will save the clothes they were spawned in as their default outfit and give them a default set of dirty pajamas to wear to bed. Building a clothing store and assigning a worker to it in a settlement, or linking the settlement via a caravan to another settlement that has a working clothing store, will upgrade the settler's wardrobe:
Hanger (Level 1): New Pajamas - Settlers will exchange dirty bedding for new bedding.
Clothing Shop (Level 2): Work Clothes – Settlers will be provided with clothing suitable for the type of work they do.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
