About this mod Machine translation

Warning: You need to use all 4 esp files to understand my production intention, but I separated them into 3 separate files so that you can replace them with better MODs.

This MOD involves

  • Weapon damage (all weapons, including guns, gloves, melee combat, corrosive venom, bird machine guns, etc.) and equipment,
  • Adjust skill points to make you less OP.
  • Adjust NPC’s blood volume and resistance,
  • Weaken the blood volume increase when players upgrade

I'm continuing to work on this mod and listen to feedback. At this point you may be wondering which one to choose between my armor modifications and "ArmorSmith Extended". However, ShadowPlane0 has made a compatibility patch, here:

  • Quickly browse, what is this Mod used for?

This is a weapon, damage, armor, turret, NPC, HP, skill point reset. This MOD makes the game more difficult and more balanced with a few esp file modifications. It is better than those lazy methods that simply increase enemy damage and reduce player damage.

-All weapons have increased damage, 2X-5X yours and your enemy's, such as the Sentinel's minigun, the Defender's laser, the Scorpion's stinger, etc.

-The skill points related to live ammunition/energy damage have been weakened. Although in the end you can still cause higher damage than the base value of the game, the skill point increase will not be too strong, so that the gap between you and NPC enemies is not too big. Some weapon modifications have been adjusted, such as increasing/decreasing the rate of fire, accuracy, etc.

-The effect of damage skill points is directly halved, so you are no longer a god in front of NPC enemies. (optional, but I recommend it)

-More enemies have damage/accuracy skill points.

-The blood volume has been averaged. For example: the weakest predator used to have 30 HP, and the strongest had 500 HP. Now the floating value is adjusted to 90-300.

  • Restored talent points missing from the original AI, weakening enemy damage... Those original predators can now also damage new players after the correction.

-Major adjustments to things that were too weak in the past, such as birds, turrets (yours and the enemy's) and robots

-Reduced the level list of some weapons to make them more visible in the game. The assault rifle appears at level 18 instead of 28, the power hammer originally appeared at level 18, I made it a bit lower, etc.

  • Slightly increased the value of firearms - I'm tired of the original crab steak costing more than a gun

-Strengthened the first auto-shooting mod. -35% penalty is a bit excessive in my opinion.

  • Strengthened companions to deal with stronger enemies - I also gave them new skill points and natural resistances for robots/and adults/mutants... just like other races.

-Increased the health of power armor. Different from other similar MODs, I added this part manually for each line.

  • More details:

Bethesda made a mistake similar to the one in Skyrim when they made weapon modules increase damage by 75% and weapon skill points increase damage by 100%. Why, you ask? Here's an example. An assault rifle does 30 damage. After strengthening the module (level 4) it becomes 52.5. With a 5/5 rifle skill point bonus its damage is 105. So you can do 105 damage, but a high-level NPC with the same level of weapon only does 30 damage. Taking into account the player's excellent armor defense, they only do 4-10 damage when they hit you. That makes it boring and super easy.

So when you play Survival difficulty, your damage is cut in half (105 becomes 52.5), and then the enemy's damage is increased to 60. But this time we have a new problem. Because you can only cause 52.5 damage (damage reduced by armor), it now takes about 40 rounds of bullets to defeat a high-level human with 1,000 HP wearing combat armo …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
