describe
As we all know, in Fallout 4, Bethesda decided to remove the physical appearance of the character's gun holster, and now the weapon will disappear in the air when it is stowed. This mod is a dynamic engine-level system that brings back this feature from previous Fallout games.
this module
's dynamic properties allow it to work on any weapon, including any mod that meets the vanilla weapon implementation standards
Contains
No .esp – this mod is a full f4se plugin, meaning it won’t take up a spot in your load order
Customizable - offers a variety of customization options via .ini and a powerful in-game tool, the locator. Click here to learn more about all customization options
NPC support - Weapon suits can also be seen on real NPCs
That’s it – you just install it and don’t need to do anything else
This mod, along with the bullet counting and reloading system and the damage threshold framework, is the core mechanic of the Fallout 4: New Vegas project

Installation details
Like installing other mods, make sure the mod.dll and .ini files are in your F4SE/plugins folder.
If you make changes in the .ini, be sure to back up the .ini file when updating so you can restore your custom options.
Of course, this mod requires f4se and the game must be launched via the f4se launcher (f4se_loader.exe).
Limitations and additional information
Unfortunately, there is no magic involved with this mod, which means there are some limitations and additional information to be aware of.
meeting
There is mold wear. There were a lot of mold-piercings in the original "Fallout 4", and there were also a lot of mold-piercings in weapon holsters in previous "Fallout" games. There is no mechanism inside the engine to completely eliminate it. But this mod does a lot of things to try to avoid that.
It takes into account the character's weight
The game has a built-in tool called a "locator" that allows you to manually move weapon holsters within the game. Click here to learn more
Future versions will take into account the values of the weapon-adjusted armor add-on box, which exists in the Fallout 4 Creation Kit but is never used. Like Skyrim, the weapon modifier for this mod is the distance between the holster and the armor add-on
The big gun will not be displayed in the holster by default, but the mold is too severe. While there is an option to enable it, use it at your own risk.
Weapon sets do not appear on power armor and any non-human characters.
This mod is not guaranteed to work with all published weapon mods. This can be problematic if the implementation includes things that don't match the characteristics of the original weapon.
If you start a new game, make sure to save and load it at least once. The mod needs to detect save loading in order to work properly

Lots of people from F4NV and The Bone Zone servers - testing and moral support. The moral support I received from both servers is what really made this mod possible.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
