BA2 optimization saved a whole 4MB, wow.

Made a custom projectile based on the Makeshift Weapon Pack - a projectile tweak designed for Thumper.

Rebalanced crafting requirements to be more in line with our other mods.

Fixed ammo legendary missions not running.

Fixed a bug that caused the weapon to not work with the Rifleman talent, like other Explosive Launchers.

Fixed a visual issue with unique damage bonuses not displaying.

Fixed minor mesh errors.

Fixed NPC 45 degree bug.

Changed the ordering of some miscellaneous modules.

You guys probably already know what an M79 is. Bloop tubes, Bloop guns, Thumpers, grenade rifles, everything. This mod adds a low quality (because I made it) M79 to the game under the name "Thumper". Don't call it a grenade rifle because I know PBW will have a proper grenade rifle recreation at some point. Additionally, the NV's grenade rifle has some design differences.

Due to next generation update. 40mm is now officially in the game! I'll patch it after it gets patched etc.

~~Since Fallout 4 does not have grenade casings, this mod will require either of these two ammo frames~~

Ammo expansion

explosive complex

No, I will not offer a version with 40mm added. If you want to use a grenade launcher in this year's game, you should use either of these two.

If this gets in the way of your simple yet stable 500+ mod list and 50+ weapon mods, feel free to make a patch to add it

Independent 40mm. I left the file and esp entries to do so.

Having said that.

This mod aims to breathe new life into Sean_S's M79 - a standalone weapon. I even found the original list on Unity's Asset Store to re-export the textures. So not only will it have new assets and animations, but it will also have a new look! A large part of the implementation stems from Antistar's hard work in WARS - Weapon Addition and Replacement Suite. Without him, this mod wouldn't even exist. Be sure to visit the mod and give it your stamp of approval or even a playthrough. However, this is not just a piece of WARS as I did my best to adapt my balancing philosophy to the M79 and expand the selection of accessories. Not too much, but enough.

This module contains

5 Receivers with their own purposes

3 barrels

4 butts

3 sight options (with illuminated sight colors)

4 reflex sight options (with reticle variants)

2 long-range sights

2 muzzle brake

9 skins (+9 clean skins for Saint Sean Special Edition)

A similar Saint Sean's Special to previous iterations is located in Gorski's Cabi …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
