If you use custom third-person camera settings, you may have noticed that some player characters' third-person animations are somewhat lacking when fighting/firing weapons. For some weapons' "alarm" and "aim" animations, the player character stands upright as if they are not in a firefight. I first noticed this when one of my companions showed off their fantasy animations (the ones played after equipping a ranged weapon). Regardless of the size/type of this weapon, my companion would assume a rather tactical stance before relaxing into an alert/ready position (neither of which happens on PC). The relative upright position of the player character is clearly evident at this point. I'm not sure if this is intentional, but it annoys me. The player character also doesn't show animation from hip firing/"muscle memory" to aiming at the target position. If anything, it's almost unnoticeable using the default camera and definitely not first-person. However, the default third person camera is atrocious in my opinion, and tweaking it to my liking I stumbled upon the above scenario.
This is my first "MOD" and I'll be the first to admit that I barely know what I'm doing. However, with some community guidance and googling, I found this solution. Get it, my experience with adaptations is limited to utilizing the wonderful work of others on these sites; I'm sure this upload is by no means perfect, and the more creative among us may be able to do better. However, it does solve the above problem.
The little attention this mod has received within a few hours of being released makes me very positive! I applied the fix to the obvious bug! Please completely uninstall the previous version before installing a new upload!

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
