Unmessified Bounding Throws
🎮 **A mod designed for the demo version of "Yakuza: Kiwami 3", aiming to slightly improve Kazuma Kiryu's "Dragon of Dojima" style, while retaining the core combat system of "Kaiwa 3" as much as possible. Most importantly, it fixes the "Bounding Throws" issue! **
---
🐉 Dragon style changes
The module adjusts the triggering conditions of throwing skills in Dragon Style, allowing you to use finishing moves more freely!
- **□△○** - No finishing throw
- **□□△○** - The second finishing throw (back breaking throw)
- **□□□△○** - The third finishing throw (Giant Spin Throw)
- **□□□□△○** - The 4th finishing throw (powerful bomb throw)
- **□□□□□△○** - The first finishing throw (overhead throw?)
**Charged Heavy Attack** has also been changed to a "Fighter" style heavy combo, as the "Agent" style moves don't match the Dragon style at all. Although the field control ability is slightly weaker, the damage is slightly increased.
- **△** - Normal strike, causing 100 points of damage.
- **△△** - Causes a rotation effect, causing 125 points of damage.
- **△△△** - Can be charged to cause knockback wind pressure, causing 150 points of damage.
In addition, the buttons for light and heavy dodge attacks have been swapped, and the classic dodge attack in dragon style has been adjusted!
- **↑ + △** - Classic shoulder collision
- **↓ + △** - Classic dodge toe kick
---
🥋 Ryukyu style changes
The mod also sets up new trigger combos for Ryukyu-style throws/command grabs.
- **□△○** - No finishing throw/command grab, but at least you can still use "Iron Armor".
- **□□△○** - Finishing throw? /command grab 1
- **□□□△○** - Finishing throw? /command grab 2
- **□□□□△○** - Finishing throw? /command grab 3
- **□□□□□△○** - Finishing throw? /command grab 4
---
✨ Extra features
The mod also includes an additional version that allows you to perform finishing moves without burning any calories and entering Dragon High, just like in Yakuza 5, so why not?

⚠️ Known issues
- **Tight timing window**: When facing the boss, the triggering time of the finishing throw may feel very harsh, **especially the Ryukyu style finishing throw**. When they get up, or you hit their armor or some other weird condition, you'll most likely just do a normal grab action. To be on the safe side, when using the 3rd to 5th Ryukyu style finishing throw, please press the ○ key.
- **Y key throwing skill replacement failed**: I tried to replace the Y key throwing skill with the classic kick, but failed for unknown reasons. If some other more awesome modder (who has probably completely remade Kiryu's action mod) has figured this out, go play their mod.
- **Ryukyu style throwing skill rebinding**:~~I have tried to rebind the Ryukyu style finishing throwing skill, but it didn't work, and I'm not entirely sure why. If I want to update this mod someday in the future I might figure out why, but I'm just a beginner with a **horrible work attitude** so don't get your hopes up. ~~(outdated, haha)

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
