A themed project similar to Long War, but updated to include some of Xcom 2's new game features.

Initial release: March 26, 2016
Hey everyone! This is a project I've been working on for the past few weeks: Beaglerush's Escalation rebalancing class.
The Escalation class is themed similarly to Xcom's Long War class: Enemy Unknown, but updated to include some of Xcom 2's new gameplay features. We ultimately intend to recreate all eight Long War classes: Assault, Infantry, Scout, Sniper, Rocketeer, Gunner, Engineer, and Medic.
In our initial release, we are bringing you the Scout and Rocketeer classes. These classes are mostly complete in implementation and should be fully playable in Xcom 2 activities. They are intended to be used in activities of increasing difficulty and will not necessarily balance the difficulty levels of vanilla Xcom 2. The goal of this mod is to create classes that enable players to enjoy a "Long War-like" experience in Xcom 2.
Currently, due to the number of shared assets required, the Escalation class will be released in a single mod. Create these classes. I hope to be able to provide users with a more elegant solution in the near future to choose between upgrade classes that appear in their campaigns.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
