This plug-in only replaces screen text and does not modify any MOD or game codes and values. It is impossible to change their functional behavior. When you encounter an error, please do this quick verification first:

• r2modman Mod Manager users: temporarily disable Catnip-ValheimCN in the manager (or delete the BepInEx\plugins\ValheimCN folder in the profile);
• Manual installation for users: delete BepInEx\plugins\ValheimCN\ValheimCN.dll (dictionaries and configurations can be retained and will not affect verification).

The error still exists after disabling it ⇒ It has nothing to do with this Chinese plug-in, it is a problem with the original MOD or the game itself. At this time, please roll back the corresponding original MOD to the previously playable version and wait for the original author to update and fix it; do not report such problems to this plug-in page.

ValheimCN — MOD Simplified Chinese Chinese version

Add a reliable Simplified Chinese version to commonly used Valheim MODs: it will take effect as soon as it is installed and entered into the game. Mods that are not installed will be automatically skipped and there will be no residue when uninstalling.

AI translation is not a random translation dictionary fed to the AI. It uses the original Chinese translation of the game as a dictionary, which is 98% consistent with the original vocabulary of the game. The words (items, skills, etc.) created by the MOD can only conform to the game settings and will not make you feel weird.

Core functions

• Ready to install - after installing the plug-in and dictionary, the game will automatically take effect without any manual operation;
• Activation on demand - automatically detects the MODs you have installed, whichever one is installed will be Chineseized, and the dictionary that is not installed will automatically sleep without being mixed;
• Comprehensive coverage - MOD interface, items and place names, skills and tips, setting items and descriptions in the configuration manager, all Chinese;

-Official translation - the game items, biomes, and locations reused by the MOD directly use the official Chinese translation of the game;

• Configuration security - Only the display text of the configuration interface is Chinese-language, no configuration key names are changed, and your existing setting values ​​remain intact;
• Update reminder - after the original MOD is updated, the Chinese panel will give a gentle prompt (with the old and new version numbers), which will not affect the existing translation dictionary;
• Chinese version panel - The "Hall of Valor MOD Chinese version" button will appear above the start menu, and you can check which MODs are covered.
• Does not contain any original MODs - This plug-in does not package or redistribute any MOD files (excluding DLLs and resources). Please download all MODs from their original release pages;
• The original DLL is not modified - any original MOD file remains the same, and the Chinese version is implemented by pure client text replacement. The functions, values ​​and online behavior of the MOD are 100% consistent with the original version;
• Online security - only replaces the text displayed on your screen, does not send any data to the server, and is completely unaware of the server and teammates.
