Overview
SwimSpeed lets you adjust your Valheim swim speed on the fly with the Left and Right arrow keys, with full config file control over min/max range and step size. Includes Ludicrous Speed mode for when you really need to get somewhere fast.
Controls

Tips
- Set MaximumMultiplier up to 10.0 for extreme speeds
- AdjustmentPercent = 10 gives finer control; 50 gives big jumps
- Ludicrous Speed stacks on top of your current multiplier — so 3x speed + Ludicrous x10 = 30x total. Start with LudicrousMultiplier = 4 or 5 if 10 is too chaotic
- Jumping out of water onto rocks and ladders works normally
Installation
r2modman (Recommended)
Install directly through r2modman or the mod manager.

- Install BepInExPack for Valheim
- Drop SwimSpeed.dll into /BepInEx/plugins/

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
