Storehouse

Version 0.5.2. Storage management for Valheim.

  • Managed chests inside a workbench network sort themselves into groups built from tags when you close them.
  • Group menu (the button on the chest): groups, tags, and a ledger of everything stored in the base.
  • Orders and keep in stock belong to groups. Orders make the requested additional amount; stock targets

refill shortages using ingredients from managed storage and the stations in the network.

  • Output made for a one-off group order stays with that group until you interact with the delivered stack; an amber pulse marks it.
  • Production supports smelters, kilns, crafting stations, fermenters, cooking stations and ovens.
  • Order timers under the minimap.

Modded item tags

Open the TAGS set dropdown and choose Mods to see items grouped by their adding mod. To sort all items from one

mod into a group, tick that mod's tag in the group's TAGS checklist. To make a hand-picked tag, create a custom tag and

search for the item there. Named modded item prefabs loaded by the game are listed even when they only come from loot.

Installation

Install BepInEx for Valheim, then extract the archive into your Valheim folder so Storehouse.dll is under

BepInEx/plugins. Remove any older Storehouse DLL from other plugin folders to avoid loading it twice.

Mod manager users can import this ZIP as a local mod.

Quick Stack Store and Recipe Pinner are optional. Storehouse includes integration code for these mods;

current-version compatibility still needs in-game testing. Disable competing smelter auto-fuel and auto-deposit

features when testing Storehouse production.

Saved data

Groups, custom tags and requests use BepInEx/config/Storehouse/world_.json. Chest settings and pending bench

crafts are saved with the world. Preserve the world and its matching configuration when moving installations.

Multiplayer status

Multiplayer remains unverified. If testing multiplayer, install this same version on the host or dedicated

server and all clients. Dedicated-server object loading and inventory ownership handoffs remain unresolved;

this update does not establish server support. Test in a disposable world before using valuable inventories.

Validation

The release build is compiled locally. Sorting and order behavior, world reloads, station destruction and

multiplayer still require in-game validation.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin

  1. The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
  2. Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
  3. Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
  4. Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.

Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.

Install these first, or the mod will not work:
