📍 Random Spawn Point Bruh!

Customized player spawn positioning, dynamic biome distance ranging, and biome starting kits for Valheim.

Random Spawn Point Bruh! gives server administrators and solo players control over player spawn locations and initial survival loadouts. The mod supports randomized biome spawns with mathematical distance bands, fixed coordinates for community hubs, special trader POI protection buffers, terrain altitude validation, and optional starting equipment kits tailored to each biome.

🧭 Spawn Modes & Features

| Spawn Mode | Description |

|:--- |:--- |

| Random | Places new players at a randomized location within targeted biome boundaries and search ranges. |

| Static | Spawns all incoming players at a fixed, predefined coordinate. Ideal for servers with a central starter town or community hub. |

| Vanilla | Preserves the default sacrificial stones circle at the center of the world. |

Smart Spawn Placement & Safeguards

  • Natural Biome Targeting: Spawn generation respects authentic world geography, naturally placing Ashlands spawns in the far south and Deep North in the far north.
  • Trader Protection: Automatically keeps spawn points and opening flight paths away from Haldor, Hildir, and the Bog Witch so their map markers aren't accidentally revealed early.
  • Safe Ground Validation: Ensures players always spawn on dry land at a safe elevation above the water—never underwater, in deep marshland, or embedded in cliffsides.
  • Player & Base Separation: Keeps new spawns at a configurable distance away from active players, player bases, beds, and wards.
  • Flight Path Fog-of-War: Keeps the opening Valkyrie flight corridor covered by fog of war until you touch down.

🎒 Biome Starting Kits

When spawning outside the peaceful Meadows, surviving the elements and local creatures requires immediate equipment. The optional Biome Starting Kits system delivers gear, tools, and provisions upon touchdown.

  • Server-Synced & Optional: Disabled by default (Enable Starting Kits = false) to preserve vanilla progression until enabled by the server admin.
  • First Spawn Only: Kits are delivered only once when a new character first arrives in the world. They are never repeated on deaths, bed respawns, or world re-joins.
  • Auto-Equip Gear: Armor, shields, weapons, and utility belts are automatically equipped upon landing (Auto-Equip Gear = true).
  • Auto-Consume Foods & Meads: Immediately consumes one of each food and protective mead in the kit upon touchdown (Auto-Consume Foods and Meads = true), granting instant health, stamina, and resistances (e.g. Frost, Poison, or Fire Resistance) before local hazards take effect.
  • Admin / Testing Command: Server admins and solo testers can run rspb_resetkit (requires devcommands) in the in-game console to re-queue starting kit delivery on demand.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin

  1. The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
  2. Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
  3. Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
  4. Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.

Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
