I Can't Swim
Walk on water like it's solid ground. Toggle it on, walk across the ocean, toggle it off.
What It Does
Toggles the player between normal swimming and walking on the water surface. When active, the player stands and moves on top of waves as if they were terrain — no swimming animation, no stamina drain, no wet/cold/freezing debuffs.
Usage
| Action | Result |
|--------|--------|
| E (default) | Toggle water walking on/off |
| Toggle on while submerged | Character rises to the surface over ~2 seconds |
| Toggle on while above 10m over water | Blocked — "Can't water walk from up here!" |
| Walk onto land | Toggle off manually with E |
The mod auto-disables if the player drifts more than 10 meters above the water surface (e.g. climbing a coastal mountain), so it won't go haywire on terrain.
Configuration
Found in BepInEx/config/YouDied.ICantSwim.cfg or via the Configuration Manager (F1 in-game if installed).

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
