Installation - installation method
My own localization for EpicLoot mod, DeepL API were used for initial translation, then rests were done by myself.\
Installation -> copy Chinese.json or Chinese_Trad.json to...\Valheim\profiles\Default\BepInEx\config\EpicLoot\localizations
I translated most of the mod text of EpicLoot according to my own simplified Chinese style. Since the text volume is relatively large, I first used DeepL to translate most of the text and then polished it manually. Finally, I used python to convert an additional traditional Chinese version. \
There is a low probability that there will be strange AI translations that I missed, as long as the English text included in the source text file has been translated into Chinese, and the original text file English.json is attached for reference.

*Fixed issue with potential bounty targets having incorrect follower names. \
*Attempted to Chineseize all Nordic enemy names based on semantics or pronunciation, and modified some translations and polishes. \
*Fixed the problem that the previous translation would cause errors in generating item names. It should now be displayed normally. \
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
