oh but seriously this is js a modpack for a friend who is modding for the first time, a bunch of shitpost mods and a handfull of useful ones they can use later on. there are a total of 22 mods.
hey linux users! read this!
as are some other mods/modpacks on linux, this modpack requires a liiitle bit of extra setup to get fully functional.
follow these steps after installing:
if using r2modman:
- open a terminal and type cd ~/.config/r2modmanPlus-local/ULTRAKILL/profiles/Very_Silly_Modpack/BepInEx/plugins/DomerDev-Microsoft_SAM_Inner_Monologue/
- then type cp samlines.resource ~/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/ULTRAKILL/ULTRAKILL_Data/
OR
- open a file manager of choice and go to ~/.config/r2modmanPlus-local/ULTRAKILL/profiles/Very_Silly_Modpack/BepInEx/plugins/DomerDev-Microsoft_SAM_Inner_Monologue/
- copy the file samlines.resource to ~/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/ULTRAKILL/ULTRAKILL_Data/
if manually installing:
- open a terminal and type ~/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/ULTRAKILL/BepInEx/plugins/DomerDev-Microsoft_SAM_Inner_Monologue/
- then type cp samlines.resource ~/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/ULTRAKILL/ULTRAKILL_Data/
OR
- open a file manager of choice and go to ~/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/ULTRAKILL/BepInEx/plugins/DomerDev-Microsoft_SAM_Inner_Monologue/
- copy the file samlines.resource to ~/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/ULTRAKILL/ULTRAKILL_Data/
and then you should be all good! just make sure to be running w/ proton 9.0-4

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
