Install:
Open the folder with the installed game. Copy the contents of the archive "True Color Balance" to the "bin/x64" folder.
Or install Reshade from the official developer website, copy Realistic Color Balance.ini, Realistic Color Balance Skellige.ini and Realistic Color Balance Toussaint.ini to "Witcher 3 Game Folder/bin/x64" and select Tonemap, ColorMatrix, Colourfulness, HighPassSharp, AmbientLight, LiftGammaGain, BloomAndLensFlares, Vibrance, Curves, SMAA during the installation process.
(Please remove other ReShade modifications before installing).
Place the mod folder in the STLM archive into the "Witcher 3 mods folder" and the dlc folder into the "Witcher 3 DLC folder".
In the requirements list I list the modifications I tested with this mod.
In-game, press the "HOME" button to manage modifications. There is a special bar at the top where you can choose a preset. There you can choose the graphics settings for the main part of the game and Toussaint separately.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
