Just some new looks for Geralt
This will be a repository for any skin/face related projects I'm working on that are suitable for human consumption. The difference between this and Geralt the Egyptian is that it's all about skins and whatnot, whereas this is a very niche personal project focused on reimagining Geralt as an Egyptian.
Heroic Face Remodel 2.0 update: indoor shadow bug fixed
Here is the list so far
[GERALT HEAD]
Heroic Face Remodel (2.0): Slightly fills in his cheeks, lips and chin so he looks more classically heroic. Currently, mid-term beards tend to be trimmed, so I recommend opting for a close shave or beard.
[GERALT SKIN]
Caranda Retexture (Beta 0.1): True darkness, reworked skin and eyes, and a bald (well, more like shaved) head. I guess he seems a little younger, but you know how that goes. Still needs some work on the neck, and isn't tattoo or HoS compatible yet. If you want a shaved head to appear, you need a blank hair model.
Algarrobo Blanco Retexture: Sunny medium brown, vanilla eyes and hair. Not yet compatible with Tattoo or HoS.
Mahoe Retexture: Between Caranda and Algarrobo Blanco. Final fix on my old Egyptian Geralt reskin so it has kohl on its right eye. Compatible with HoS, but not with tattoos. Screenshots are coming. Or not.
[GERALT HAIR]
Blank Hair Model: Replace long, pinless hairstyles with tight trims. All it does is make the long hair model transparent, so unless you use Caranda Retexture, Geralt will still be left with gray hair on his scalp. I'm rubbish at even the simplest coding, so I don't know how to make this a DLC.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
