About this mod Machine translation
Weapon Stats Plus
Adds the numbers SULFUR hides to weapon tooltips, in absolute units so you can compare guns directly.
| Line | What it means |
|---|---|
| Fire interval | Replaces RPM with the real seconds between shots (RPM kept in brackets). Bolt, pump and lever actions that block the next shot longer than the RPM allows are included and marked "action-limited". Also shown for guns that hide RPM (flintlocks etc.). |
| Charge (D4RT) | Charge-up time and full shot cycle; scales with fire rate. |
| Recoil | Final kick value after all attachments/oils. |
| Muzzle velocity | Raw launch speed from bullet force and bullet mass, then the 200 m/s engine cap it gets clamped to (e.g. 260 → 200 m/s). |
| Bullet speed | Real travel speed in m/s after the "bullet speed" (time-scale) modifier. Beams and the railgun are marked as instant. |
| Drop @ 50 m | How far the round falls over 50 m, including air drag ("-" if drag stops it before 50 m). |
| Flat shot lands | How far a level shot flies before it has dropped 1.5 m (about muzzle height when standing). Every gun gets a number, so drag guns and normal guns compare directly. |
| Reload | Seconds until you can shoot again, including chambering or bolt work after the ammo goes in (partial and empty, or per-round and empty-to-full for tube/clip loaders), with your reload-speed bonuses applied. |
All values follow your current attachments, oils and enchantments.
Oil and attachment tooltips
Some vanilla modifier lines are misleading or missing. These are rewritten:
| Vanilla | Weapon Stats Plus |
|---|---|
| Bullet drop x15 | Bullet mass +15 (regular bullets: muzzle velocity x0.17). Mass divides launch speed; drop grows because the bullet is slower. |
| Bullet speed +50% | Bullet speed +50% (same trajectory) |
| More drag | Drag +7: -7 m/s speed per metre flown. A 200 m/s bullet stops after 200 / 7 = 29 m. |
| More / less force speed, or nothing at all (Force Oil) | Muzzle velocity x3 |
Notes
- "Bullet speed" oils only speed up the projectile's clock; they do not change the trajectory, so drop per metre is unchanged. Bullet-mass/drop oils lower muzzle velocity.
- Reload times are computed from the game's reload animations and its reload rules, not measured live. A game update that changes animations can make them slightly off until the mod is updated.
- Tooltip only; the mod doesn't change gameplay and is safe to add or remove at any time.
Language
Follows the game language automatically (Chinese when the game is in Chinese, English otherwise). To force one, set Language = Auto / English / Chinese in BepInEx/config/ericszh.sulfur.weaponstats.cfg (or in your mod manager's config editor).
Chinese description
Display the values hidden in the game in the weapon prompt box, all in absolute units (seconds, meters/second) to facilitate horizontal comparison.
- Shot Interval: Replace RPM with the actual number of seconds between shots (brackets reserve RPM). Actions such as bolt pulling and pumping that are slower than the rate of fire will be counted as actions and marked as "limited by action". Guns that do not display rate of fire, such as flintlock guns, will also display it.
- Charge (D4RT): The charge time and the period of a complete shot are affected by the rate of fire.
- Recoil: Final recoil after accessories and oil are taken into account.
- Muzzle velocity: original velocity calculated based on bullet thrust and bullet mass, and truncated by the engine's upper limit of 200 m/s.
- Bullet speed: actual flight speed m/s after taking into account "bullet speed" (time scaling), beams and railguns are marked as instant hits.
- 50-meter drop: How much you drop when flying 50 meters, including air resistance ("-" is displayed when the resistance is so great that it flies less than 50 meters).
- Horizontal shooting: When shooting horizontally, how far can the bullet fly before falling 1.5 meters (about the height of the muzzle when standing). Each gun has this number and can be directly c …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
- For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.
Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
