🌟 Meet Oriel

She has recently moved to the valley to focus on what she loves most - studying butterflies and moths, although sadly none of the species found in her homeland are here. But she has a little secret, and she wonders if she can live in the valley for long without exposing it. She was cheerful, calm and optimistic, unaware that she might need a little help.

📖 Rich plot lines

Oriel has a complete storyline, including 13 heart events, each of which has one or more plots. She is friends with Willy, Emily, and Linus, and you can reach her quarters by boat. She participates in holiday events, as well as random seasonal dialogue, saying lots of new stuff over time.

🤝 Compatibility

Oriel has 20 new dialogue responses for each of the following installed mods: Eastern Scarp, Eli and Dylan, Jotz and Kim - the Helper Cat, and SVE, distributed by heart level and season time. She also reacts to non-player characters from other expansions.

Aside from a patch that expands the leftmost beach pier, this mod does not affect any maps and does not change NPC behavior. I tested its compatibility with SVE and Oriental Scarp and confirmed that everything works fine. As of version 1.0.7, this mod no longer conflicts with FIASA or Cape Stardew, you can use them together without problems!

Regarding Festival, I tried to keep her from overlapping with Ridgeside, Thornbury, and the non-player characters in the most popular expansions. If any issues arise, please let me know!

🎨 Custom configuration

There is a configuration setting that allows using a portrait for Oriel that corresponds to the Niap portrait style. These are portraits I put together myself and are not original creations of Niap, but I made them because Niap is very generous with their usage restrictions and I thought they would be nice to have as a lover of Niap portraits.

If Niap creates art for this mod in the future, I will delete my modifications and replace them with the real ones! Download the universal module configuration menu for easy editing of configurations.

🌱 New plants, seeds and recipes

This mod adds several crops and goods, and I tried to make them not conflict with other crop expansions. However, I didn't know Minami and Passionflower were the same thing, so if you install this mod with Cornucopia, you'll have two types of Passionflower. This shouldn't cause any problems!

This can cause narrative dissonance if you play as a mermaid farmer or one of those characters that the villagers openly believe to be real mermaids. This mod does not directly conflict with mods that allow farmers to marry Willy (but such mods should be avoided if you don't want Willy to be jealous of Aurel).

This mod also adds 3 new flower crops, two shrubs using custom bushes, two fruit trees and a wild tree - all of which correspond to species favored by real-life butterflies. Two recipes using new products have also been added.

Additionally, there is a silkworm chest in the mod that will give you (damaged!) silkworm cocoons that can be placed on a loom to create (cruelty-free!) silk - a crafting good similar to cloth but more profitable. Silk cannot currently be used to sew clothing, but it can be turned into two kinds of fabric if you wish.
