Jorts and Jean are two cats who became famous on the US internet due to their Reddit posts in early 2022! Now they have come to Stardew Valley. The smart and wise Jean and the naughty and kind Jorts shoulder the important task of helping the residents of Pelican Town, especially the employees of Joja Supermarket.
These two cats are staunch defenders of workers’ rights and union freedoms. By the way, they can talk! Some residents of Pelican Town can understand them, but not all!

Jorts and Jean (Jean is like jeans, Jorts = jeans + shorts, long jeans shorts) are two office cats who became Internet idols at the end of 2021.

- First install the original mod in the "Mods" folder
- Unzip and drag the "[NPC] Jorts and Jean" folder into the Mods folder
- Select the **Merge/Merge Folders** option

🐾 Translation Features
- Jorts often uses the untranslatable word "scrungy", which is translated as "dirty"

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
